The world had changed.
The shinobi world had been twisted and ravaged by bloodshed. The kages had reigned over their countries through fear; constant battling took place in an effort to balance the global economy. The overwhelming desire for strength eventually led to drastic measures: Genetically enhanced clones, powered by demons trapped in the very machines that barely upheld the foundation of the countries' vitality and wealth. Even summoned creatures, once counted on by shinobi for support in battle, were forced into the endeavor for power.
The Akatsuki took their place as emperors, ruling over the lands through a continued inheritance of their rings of power. Each Kage was a successor to a dark, terrible world.
However...
From that dark world came Uzumaki Gufuu, son of the previous Hokage Uzumaki Naruto. Gufuu had perfected the Jutsu to reverse time, to alter reality itself. True to his inherited will, Gufuu took it upon himself to put an end to the terrible fate the shinobi world had met.
From within a shuriken-shaped seal emanating golden light, his heartfelt words resounded: "Let's rewind." A black vortex into an unknown dimension sucked the current dimension into itself, creating a new world from the matter that once was.
The Shinobi world recreated, the nidaime reigned again.
Thirty years later...
Time passed quickly. Kages, Lords and Ladies took the power for themselves, ruling over their land. Peace befell their villages; the citizens lived idyllic, serene lives, without worry or panic ever interfering in their lives.
But one village remained different.
Without a leader, the little village of Kusa didn’t harbor anyone who wanted to venture into the position as ruler. It wasn’t long before Iwa’s Tsuchikage lusted after the power, Konoha following suit. The citizens' pleas against forced rule and attempted compromises fell on deaf ears, their cries muffled by oppression.
Kusa took drastic measures to defend itself from foreign rule: It sent skilled assassins and hired mercenaries to eliminate the Hokage of Konoha and the Tsuchikage of Iwa. But things went wrong, and only the Tsuchikage died.
Furious, Iwa blamed their major enemy – Konoha, and were determined to exact revenge.
The present...
It’s been forty years since the dreadful event and much tension still lingers. The nidaime are blind to all but revenge. After living in peace for so long, the seeds of war have easily been planted. Soon, they will grow…
Our current character in the Spotlight is Ren Shitoyaka, the Lady of the Waterfall Village. Ren is the proud, enthusiastic and kind leader of Taki. Her village isn't as large as the major nations, but she puts every ounce of devotion into leading her people and keeping them safe.

Konoha - Village Hidden in the Leaves (3 sub-boards) Konoha for short, is one of the five great ninja villages. As such, it is one of five villages with a Kage as its leader, known as the Hokage. Although Konoha, much like the country in which it resides, has been peaceful for the past twelve years and has grown accustomed to that peace, it remains one of the most powerful villages in existence, with an overall ninja population much greater than that of any other village, and therefore has great military power and influence. Suna - Village Hidden in the Sand (2 sub-boards) As one of the five great ninja villages, Sunagakure has a Kage as leader, the Kazekage. These ninja tend to specialize in wind techniques or puppet-style jutsu.
Kiri - Village Hidden in the Mist (4 sub-boards) Kiri is one of the five great hidden villages and is located in the Land of Water. Its leader is the Mizukage. Little is known about Kirigakure, except that its ninja specialize in water-based jutsu and that it is home to the famed but mysterious Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Moderator: Zazeai
Iwa - Village Hidden in the Stones (2 sub-boards) As one of the five great ninja villages, Iwagakure has a Kage as leader, the Tsuchikage. Little is known about it, but it stands to reason that its ninja specialize in earth-based jutsu. Moderator: Gensho
Kumo - Village Hidden in the Clouds (1 sub-board) As one of the five great ninja villages, Kumogakure has a Kage as leader, the Raikage. Its ninja tend to specialize in lightning release. Moderator: Tenshu
Oto - Hidden village in the Sound Oto or Sound village was created by Konoha as a prision, to keep criminals away from the honest people,but soon the village was taken over by some of the criminals. The Oto ninjas specialize in techniques involving manipulation of sound waves, as well as using a cursed seal to increase their power. Moderator: Rindra Oshamaki
Kusa - Hidden village in the Grass (1 sub-board) Kusa is located in the Land of Grass. Nothing apart from that is known about it at this point, but it stands to reason that its ninja specialize in jutsu involving flora or fauna. Judging from the ninja that have hailed from Kusagakure, it can be assumed that this village is far less pleasant than Konohagakure. Moderator: Yajuu
Takigakure - Village hidden in the Waterfall (1 sub-board) Taki is located in the Land of the Waterfall. Taki ninjas seem to specialize in water-based jutsu. Also, its leader processed a type of water called the Hero Water, which was extracted from a rather old tree. It gives the user ten times their ordinary chakra level; however, the strain of its use can prove fatal. Moderator: Shitoyaka Ren
Amegakure - Hidden village in the Rain (1 sub-board) Ame is a small hidden village in the Land of Rain. It seems to be a rather loosely knit village, as a fair number of its ninja seem to either be missing-nin or end up as missing-nin. Nothing apart from this is known about it at this point, but it stands to reason that its ninja specialize water-based jutsu. Umbrellas are common weapons used only by them. One can infer from the performance of their ninja that long-range combat and genjutsu are emphasized, as are various breathing aids to allow them full mobility in their element. Akatsuki Cave The mountain cave was chose by Akatsuki as a meeting place to withdraw bijuu from Jinchuuriki. The cave was protected by a large bolder door and a Gofuu Kekkai. The cave was large enough to accommodate the large King of Hell statute that Akatsuki used in the extraction process.
