Appearance: Mayu is one hundred and sixty five centimeters tall and weights about sixty kilograms. One of her "unique" traits in her appearance would be her unnatural white skin, making her bright vibrant blue eyes more distinctive, as if they could glow in the dark. Her skin also makes it easy and simple to indicate any bruising or other marks on it as well. One example is a large stab wound glued to her left side.She has white hair that's brighter than her lack of pigmentation, styled to her left that could be waist-length. Her body build is curvaceous, holding some curves on her waist and having a large bust. Despite her petite build, Mayu holds incredible strength as the Raikage.
Mayu's outfit is nothing too complex to process. The overall theme of her outfit is white, just a shade lighter than her unnatural skin tone. She wears a simple white dress that matches the hue of her hair, followed by a few sailor accessories tied onto it with a large white hat and a blue flower. She also wears black armors boots with heels, and sometimes black armors gloves to match. She would also often carry a white umbrella around her at all times to help block the sun from her skin.
Personality: Mayu is an elegant, patient, and persistent level-headed woman. She shows class in not only her sense of fashion, but also in her tone, postures and gestures. Mayu is never heard without using honorifics, even with her closes allies and peers. While she was raised to become a shinobi, she also grew up in an environment where her family had some form of wealth. She doesn't act spoiled, as she shouldn't for her age and carrying the position of Raikage, but instead keeps calm and well-mannered. Mayu is a very social person, as she can talk away and listen for hours. She's usually friendly and doesn't bite... hard.. She may appear soft and slightly timid on the outside, however she's a woman who knows how to stand her ground and knows when people are taking advantage of her, knowing when to put an end to it immediately.
As mentioned before, Mayu is rarely heard without using honorifics. Not once is she heard to be informal to those that are below her. Even the lowest of ranks and even the most vile beings that breathe about would earn some form of respect from her. She isn't one to look down on or threaten her enemies... but if she does, she does it with class. After all, she is a modest woman who knows how to keep things sophisticated. However, it isn't rare for Mayu to do so, regularly if she's being challenged, tempted, or seeing past lies and slander, and much more. However, Mayu does like to challenge and tempt other people to see how long they can endure her subtle verbal abuse.
But Mayu would be a hypocrite if she says she's squeaky clean. She has some dirt on her own that she isn't proud of, though certain secrets she has no problem elaborating on. She lies and cheats herself, but only when it's needed. Mayu considers herself to be a superb actress, so it's easy for her to hiss lies through her teeth. She knows how to play her cards right when it comes to trying to get what she wants. She uses fear as an accessory to manipulate and destroy. She'll do anything she can do not only get what she wants, but to also protect her title and position as the Raikage. As she isn't desperate, Mayu is most definitely a risk taker who uses common sense and logic to foresee her outcomes.
Mayu takes in a lot of confidence in her position as the Raikage. Despite her tranquilized behavior, she shows a lot of pride in her leadership and her home village. Her goal is to guide her village to the best path to the ability and make her village the best there is. However, there's more than just making her village the best, but also making herself the most powerful there is. Power-hungry and ruthless as she is despite her calm and level-headed nature, as long as her cards are played correctly. Words and actions equally speaks louder for themselves, so Mayu isn't afraid to be brutally honest in both aspects and strive for the best for her village.
Mayu does respect everyone to an extent, but she has greater respect for those who are able to see through her plans. Though, respect turns into hostility if they dare try to interfere. Anyone who could be considered a threat to her or her home village is sure to end up on Mayu's list of people to "remove". She doesn't take threats lightly, even if the thread itself isn't on a large scale or a scale at all. She takes no for an answer, but she doesn't accept it with open arms. Rejection is apart of the learning process, however it isn't apart of success in Mayu's book.
Asides from her slightly rough demeanor, Mayu is a motherly and nurturing woman to those she truly care for. She's willing to help those in need and lends a shoulder to cry on. She loves to give advice and spread her wisdom about, helping make people better and reach to their fullest potential. Mayu couldn't stress enough with the amount of pride she has for her own people and their individuality, let it be a shinobi or a simple civilian. It takes a lot to break through her calm persona, but once that's successful, it takes a while to try and calm her down. Even when she claims to be okay, she really isn't.
History: Born on December 19 came along Hosazu Mayu, the future Raikage that no one expected to be. She was born as a single child into a wealthy family, but to say her family was loving could be a bit of an understatement. It wasn't the wealth that tore the family apart, but it was rather the differences of Mayu's fate between her mother Michiko and her father Takashi. Michiko was a civilian and her father was considered to be a Taijutsu master, hence his given wealth. Michiko wanted Mayu to live off in a simple life, where she wouldn't risk her life. Takashi, on the other hand, wanted to become the greatest taijutsu user there is. Of course, the conflict between her parents did affect Mayu.
Mayu's father eventually decided to kick Michiko out of their own. Michiko agreed to leaving, on the condition of visiting Mayu at least once a week. Luckily enough, Takashi agreed to Michiko's deal. Now Mayu didn't like the fact that she only sees her mother once a week and no longer living with her and her father. This didn't mean that her father paid no attention to his own daughter. He told her that he and Michiko were both opposites. He was a shinobi and she was a civilian. He was a risk taker and she valued her life. He also explained the reason why Michiko left (in his own version) was because she didn't want Mayu to live the life she deserved; as a true kunoichi. Frankly enough, Mayu believed it. Or at least, so Takashi thought.
Mayu's academy years were rocky. One of her most noticeable traits was the lack of pigmentation; her unnaturally white skin along with her vibrant blue eyes that look as if they can glow in the dark, just like her father Takashi. Once other students took note of her appearance, immediately they realize she was the daughter of a Taijutsu master. Mayu was given her fifteen minutes of fame, until it came down to "friendly spars" and catching on with lessons. She was weak, spineless, and very fragile. She went from popularity to humility in just a matter of what it felt like was seconds. She was teased, pushed around and looked down. Now her father took note on what's going on, though did nothing to help Mayu.
Not until she barely graduated the academy and ranked up as a genin.
Mayu had some memorable moments in her genin year. The person she cherished the most was her captain, Airi. She was very nurturing and wise, as if she were the mother Mayu should've had and stayed with instead of her father. Often, she would be given private lessons considering she was the weakest out of her squad. Luckily enough, improvement was starting to show from Mayu. Her strength, speed, reflexes, it was as if she were a whole new person. Her teammates took note of her massive progression, as it also carried out throughout her genin year and the chunin exams. Before she knew it, Mayu was ranked up as a chunin.
Though, she didn't make it with clean hands.
Before the exams and during her time of improvement, one of her teammates felt inferior to her upcoming. His name was Endo, who was considered the strongest link out of his teammates. He didn't like the fact that Mayu might override him in power as he claimed to be the strongest. As expected, he was power-hungry and never takes defeat for an answer, except throwing tantrums as a response. He plotted on taking out Mayu, though Mayu was the one to take him out before he did to her. It occurred deep within the training grounds when Mayu was training by herself, until she spotted Endo right behind her trying to stab her with a kunai. After fighting it out, Mayu snatched the kunai away and stabbed Endo multiple times in the chest. After the murder, she immediately dragged his body away and buried it where it wouldn't be found. Mayu felt shocked, disgusted, and haunted that her own teammate would try and kill her. But this did teach her a valuable lesson: to be on the top as a kunoichi, it's either hunt or be hunted.
Being a chunin, Mayu's strength and training with her father have improved, though keeping up with her father was still a stretch. Her dreams and ambitions have shifted over the years. She accepted her faith of becoming a taijutsu master, but she wanted more than to just become a master. She wanted to become a leader. Not the leader of her squad, but the leader of her home village. As she grows up, Mayu begins to learn what the real world is like and how to act in it. She learns not everyone is a man of their word, not everyone is truly kind and caring as they appear, and not everyone can be trusted. Trust, however, could be easily manipulated, and it was something she was willing to do. Nearly killed, but has had her successful kills in missions; even taken lives from her own teammates to assure that she was the strongest of them all. Some has taken note that Mayu could be one of the strongest chunin, while others were suspicious of her actions. If there's one thing she can admit, she can admit that she's an excellent liar and excels in covering up her tracks.
Mayu took a break from the fighting scene and instead had began her teaching career in the academy when she became a special jounin, so not much happened other than making a few bonds and being surprisingly nurturing as she thought she should. Skipping over to her elite jounin years, she met her squad; two boys and one girl. For the most part, they were at ease. However, there were moments where Mayu wanted to give them a horrific spanking for pissing her off. Though, she took care of and trained them as if they were her own children.
Mayu was called into the Raikage's office as she was offered a position in the ANBU. The Raikage, Kaito Yotsuki, who was also the clan leader of the Yotsuki Clan, noticed Mayu's progression over the years and thought she deserved more than just being an elite jounin. Without hesitation, Mayu accepted the offer. Every now and then, however, she would still visit her former students. To think that she would be appointed to become part of the ANBU was a dream come true, but it wasn't her ultimate dream that was accomplished. She still thirst to become Raikage, and she would stop at nothing for doing so, Throughout her years as an ANBU member, her skills were becoming on par of the captain, which were also noted by Kaito.
Mayu would try to gain more trust from Kaito, so often she was visit the man's office to create a special bond between them. After months of casual conversations and showing improvement in her work as an ANBU member, Kaito finally mentioned that he trusted her well enough to appoint her as the next Raikage if he were to lose his life. Heartwarming as it was to the woman, this was just a step closer to the final part of her plan: getting rid of Kaito. She despised the way he and his clan ran Kumogakure, and Mayu saw herself as the justice that should've been served a long time ago.
Just a month later, Mayu, Kaito, and another ANBU member named Yusuke who was the captain and brother of Shodaime Raikage, were all in Kaito's office, discussing plans about their upcoming missions. That's where Mayu carries out the final part of her plan. Taking out two kunai, one was slung at Kaito's head, ending him in an instant. The other one was purposely stabbed to her right side. Yusuke lunged at Mayu just seconds after she stabbed her side, both trembling onto the ground. As guards and other ANBU members rushed into the office, they both took note of not only Yusuke on top of a wounded Mayu, but also a dead Kaito bleeding out on the desk. Yusuke was taken away from the office for execution for supposedly "killing" Kaito, being labeled as the nation's traitor whereas Mayu was rushed to a hospital.
The funeral for Kaito Yamamoto began days after Mayu's road of recovery. She was appointed as the new Raikage by Kaito himself, making her the leader of Kumogakure at the age of 28. Many cheered, while others were suspicious about her journey to becoming Raikage. A few days after Mayu has fully recovered, rumors began to surface among the village that Mayu has not only killed her own teammates in the past as not only a genin, chunin, and maybe even ANBU, but also killed the Raikage and blamed it on Yusuke. Although there was no proof introduced so far and Mayu denying the stories, the rumors still manage to rage about. However, that didn't bother Mayu, for as she's the new Raikage now. Her only focus now is to not only strive for her village, but to also make sure that her village is untouchable to others. The name, however, that she received from those who oppose her in office was "White Lie", a play on phrase with her unnaturally white skin and her lies about Yusuke killing the Raikage and injuring Mayu.
At this very moment, only but one person knows Mayu’s darkest secret. And it’s for the best that only one person may know.

RP Sample: Emiri stood only a few meters away from her father as both hands curled into fists. She could only already feel the light drizzle from the grim clouds landing on her. Determination, hunger for power and the need for victory pulsed all over her body as she stared at her father. Today was the day, she'd thought. Today was the day for her to prove her worth to her father as a "taijutsu master". For years she's been looked down and neglected by her father. It was time for her to finally expose what she's worth and how much power she truly holds.
"So, little Emi thinks she can take down a master such as myself." The man taunted to his daughter. No words exchanged from the blonde girl. Her father scoffed and let out a soft chuckle to shrug off the silence. "Alright kid," he began as he got into his battle stance. "Let's see what you got." He announced, commencing the battle and letting Emiri make the first move.
"You're not only going to see what I got. You're also going to feel it." Emiri called back. Those were her last words before electric sparks began to appear around the girl. After that, the sparks transformed into a flow electricity, followed by blue chakra surrounding the woman. Her hair began to slightly spike up as more electricity flowed around her and the aura of her blue chakra becoming larger. She could already see the astonishment in her father's face as he was witnessing her transformation.
As soon as her transformation was completed, Emiri charged at her father in just blink of an eye with her right fist drawn back and ready to release. As she was in front of her father in a matter of seconds, she launched her fist directly at her father's face with swift speed. Fortunately for him, he was able to catch her fist with both hands. However, he felt the impact surge all around his arms, giving him a massive uncomfortable sensation. He grimaced as he felt himself struggling while holding Emiri's fist.
Emiri's strength was heightened enough for her to easily pull her father in while he grabbed onto her fist. Lifting him up in the air, the girl flung her arm out to her as her father's grip on her fist was forcibly released. The man was sent flying across the field in a matter of seconds. He managed to control his flight and level himself onto his feet. Just when he did that, Emiri appeared right in front of her father before his eyes and sent a high sweep kick to his face. The heel of her foot connected to the man's jaw as he felt immense strength traveling into it, as if it were broken. Emiri would then grab him by the scruff and attempted to punch him in the face for a second time.
Her father managed to get out of her grasp as he jumped back. Emiri followed along, having another grip attached to his shirt. Repeating what she did before, she lifted him up in the air and this time, began to rag doll him. She would slam the man all over the ground as much as she good before jumping in the air, this time both arms covering his chest as they began to spiral to the ground head first. As the man struggled to break free from Emiri's grasp, it would already be too late as he felt the impact of his head hitting against the ground and the sound of his neck cracking.
