Welcome to Cursed Shuriken: Revival! We're an AU Naruto RP with our own canon-divergent history. This guide's your "quick-n-easy" to get set up for writing with us!

READY TO CREATE?
✱ Start with our Character Application and post yours HERE.
✱ Post other items (jutsu, equipment, etc) in the Creation Area.
✱ Want to be part of a clan? See Accepted Clans.
✱ Familiarize yourself with our Noble Clans--or choose to join one!
✱ Important: Verify your chosen clan's Availability before submittal!
✱ Decide which Village & Position you'd like your character to have.
✱ Check out Who's Who and Face Claims to know who and what are available and where!
APPLICATION TIPS
✱ Appearance: Ensure this is at least two paragraphs. You can include small pictures, just don't stretch the board!
✱ Personality: Think about more than surface traits like "kind" or "shy." Go deeper. What motivates your character? What is their worldview like? What really gets under their skin? What do they dream about? Etc.
✱ Chakra Natures: See Character Rules to know how many you can start with and how KKGs are handled.
✱ Specialties: These are the categories of techniques your character has studied to varying degrees. Examples: Ninjutsu (covers non-elemental and elements), Elemental Ninjutsu (only covers elements), Taijutsu, Fuuinjutsu, Iryo Ninjutsu, Bukijutsu, Kenjutsu, Genjutsu, Barrier Ninjutsu (Kekkai Ninjutsu), Sound Ninjutsu (Otojutsu), etc.
✱ Skills: Skills are what you create to say what makes your character unique! Maybe they have exceptional chakra control, better reflexes, more potent illusions, quicker feet, boosted strength, etc.
✱ Bijuu: For jinchuuriki, please try to keep your bijuu abilities as close to canon as you can. We try to be flexible with little things, but we want to see canon capabilities rather than entirely different beasts out there.

READY FOR REVIEW?
✱ Post in our "review-pings" channel in Discord to let staff know that your app is ready for review!
✱ Staff will conduct your review in two parts; e.g., two people will review your applications whenever they're submitted. Once you get your 1/2 and 2/2 approvals, you're all set to begin writing! Admin Sakura will handle all of your claims for you (village positions, who's who, face claims, etc.) In some instances, apps will be approved with a 1/1 approval.
AFTER APPROVAL
✱ As you accumulate Ryo from posting and missions, you'll want to spend it! Post your Purchase Thread in the Purchases Board. Each time you buy a jutsu, piece of equipment, etc, you'll post in your Purchase Thread requesting the buy, and a single staff member will approve it and then deduct the needed Ryo from your account. Staff will then add the item(s) to your character app.
✱ Training! All of our characters do it. Each country board has a sub-board called "Training" wherein you can post in your own training thread twice per week. This gives you free ryo (experience) to spend. Check out this thread as an example.
✱ If you want to experiment with posting templates or character graphics, feel free to toss your creations into the Graphics Corner.
