History: The Ikari Clan originated from Iwagakure, and despite being one of the earliest clans within the village to be established, the status of nobility were never given to them. However, they've never originated within the village itself, but rather the outskirts of the Land of Earth. This meant that they were forced to live through the harsh conditions its environment had to offer. Even in modern day, they still live around the outskirts. It was said that living in the outskirts give them more freedom and control of their actions, but still considered themselves as Iwagakure shinobi.
Although they've originated from Iwagakure, they weren't considered Iwagakure when the clan was first created. The name itself didn't come along until much later. The clan first started off as a large group of missing-nin that were from different villages that had similar ideologies and motives. The majority of these bandits, however, were from Iwagakure. They wanted to rid the peace that went on during the middle years of the created villages, though they didn't propose chaos for their new world. However, they disliked the establishment of certain villages, starting with Iwagakure. Before reshaping the entire world into their own vision, how they view their reality of a paradise, they must start with their home village.
The actual leader was never identified, but many people of the clan came to a conclusion that two sisters, who shared the Ikari name, ran the clan. One of them, Ichiho Ikari had decided to officially claim the position as leader. Ichiho was a spiteful woman, but believed she was spiteful for the right reasons. Like everyone else in the clan, they wanted to reform the world the way the group wanted.
For Ichiho specifically, she wanted a totalitarian control over all the villages under her bandit's rule. Essentially, world domination. However, it was more than that. As a bandit who hailed from Iwagakure, it was expected that she wanted the world to fall in control of Iwagakure. For Iwagakure to have such power, the village must accept the terms Ichiho has offered by attempting to convey war among the villages and convince them to work under Iwagakure.
Of course, this never passed through Iwagakure. The village wanted to stay at peace, but this never abide Ichiho. Her and her group attempted to raid the village, but had failed miserably after a mere few hours of a civil war. The village had then deemed the Ikari as a terrorist group and banned from the territory. Despite the ban, the group still hid within the shadows, often causing occasional terror within the village. The more they terrorize, though, the more the group's numbers began to deplete.
However, they were disgusted with their defeat and wouldn't take it as their end result. To them, they felt as if they managed to stand on their own ground as they only lost four people (much to their dismay). This was where they were able to identify the problem: their physical condition. They were too weak. They may have lasted for a few hours, however they weren't strong enough to last longer.
But Ichiho had a plan.
Ichiho controls her earth chakra as it flows around every part of her body. Dark brown lines began to appear all over her arms, legs, and back as if they were tattoos with her eyes going dark brown. Although that was the only alteration in appearance, the texture of her skin was rock solid. A punch didn't even phase her and a katana would shatter upon contact. She even managed to endure a fight that would've last hours, haven't her opponent went through the same alteration as she did. She was like indestructible armor who couldn't be stopped and can last for days. However, Ichiho did notice that there was a decrease in her agility and reaction time, but she still held godlike strength.
She called it Hogo no iwa (Rock of Protection)
Those that had earth chakra stayed in her group. Those who didn't were exiled as a way to create an army who were indestructible with this type of power. After just months of teaching her group her skill, they were all able to master it. They were ready to control and take over Iwagakure.
However, Ichiho had decided to come to terms with the entire village. Of course she had the same motives, but to use war as a way to convince was pointless. They had to put on a mask in order to advance. So, Ichiho decided that her group was willing to serve under the Iwagakure in exchange to teaching her ability to the whole village and consider it a village jutsu. The kage wasn't convinced at first, so Ichiho proposed a treaty claiming that if one member dared to go against the village in any way, should be executed in the worst way possible.
And so the Tsuchikage agreed.
After just a day of actually living in Iwagakure, that was when the village's Tsuchikage was killed off by a minor village, Kusagakure. Believe it or not, the group was upset by the murder of their kage and had also blamed Konohagakure for the cause.
At this very moment, the Ikari Clan is in peace with Iwagakure. Their hatred for Kusa and Konoha are blazing high and will do everything they could to extract revenge for their murdered Tsuchikage.
Chakra Nature(s): Ikari Clan members MUST have Earth as their primary chakra nature to use the bloodline. No Ikari Clan member wields lightning.
Bloodline:
Hogo no Iwa (Rock of Protection)
Hogo no Iwa (Rock of Protection) is considered to be a powerful bloodline within the clan. In order to use this ability, the user channels all of their earth chakra all over their body as dark brown lines begin to appear all over their arms, legs, and back, as if they were tattoos. Their skins would look the same with the exception of their texture. There, their skin would feel extremely rough as their eyes would also go dark brown (light if they're already dark). In terms of abilities, the bloodline consists of boosting up the user's physical condition in terms of strength like a boulder, however shows a decrease in conditions relating to speed. Here are a few conditions that the bloodline heightens
Strength: With the user's strength, they're able to lift a maximum one ton for a genin, five tons for chuunin, ten tons for a special jounin, twenty tons for a jounin rank, and forty tons for an elite jonin. Even the lightest of throws or even a simple push can send an enemy flying for a couple of meters. By channeling enough power into their punches and kicks, they can send an enemy flying at a maximum of thirty to sixty meters for both a jounin and elite jounin rank, twenty to twenty-five for a special jounin and chuunin, and ten for a genin. Their strength is impressive enough to only create a shockwave with just a simple snap or an earthquake with a stomp. The actual power of these phenomenons depend on the rank of the user.
Durability: An Ikari's durability can be deadly. They can sustain powerful punches to the point where they might only just flinch. This doesn't go for just fighting. The bloodline is strong enough for the user to withstand dangerous strains on the body such as crushing weights, impacts, pressures, changes in temperature. Their durability is something beyond greater than a human's, as if they were supernatural, with the slight exception of handling lightning.
Endurance: By using this ability, Ikari's can last days worth of fighting, barely breaking a sweat. It would take a lot of hits for them to actually wear out or for them to give up.
Earth Jutsu: Because this bloodline is the flow of earth chakra around the whole body, any earth jutsu performed has its damage boosted by a rank above the user's own.
This bloodline may make the clan seem like gods, but this is far from the case. Because the bloodline favors strength, anything related to agility is greatly decreased. Even a chuunin is able to outrun them while a genin would be on par. This would cause them to take more hits compared to the lack of actually attempting to dodge the hits. While using this bloodline, the user is only able to use earth jutsu. Any other chakra nature jutsu that the user tries to perform, such as fire, would cancel the bloodline. On the topic of lightning, bloodline users may experience more damage than normal, with the damage being a rank above the lightning user's own. Overall, speed and lightning can be very harmful for an Ikari using this bloodline.
