The White Lie [Mayu]

Information had reached Zaku that the Raikage and the Tsuchikage had recently met together in Iwagakure while much of the information available currently was scetchy about what the two of them had spoke about during the meeting Zaku could only assume at this current time, but with that he assumed it could be about the growing tensions between Konoha - Kusa and Iwa. Konoha has been after the lands of Kusa for as long as Zaku's remembers and that is a long time. The village of Kusa killed the first Tsuchikage, but failed in its attempt against the Hokage while things may seem that Kusa had intentionally not killed the Hokage on purpose this was not the case Zaku knew that much from his own sources which ran deep. Zaku had ears and eyes everywhere listening and watching the world.

Information had reached Zaku that the currently Raikage had been hiding something, that was hidden so deep that the information was insanely hard to track down. The lengths that Zaku has gone down to track down the information is great. Zaku has had to kill and torture to acquire the information. While it is common knowledge that a man called Yusuke so-called killed the last Raikage this, however, is all a cover-up by the current Raikage Mayu Hosazu she had been the one to kill the Raikage, injured herself in the process and blamed the whole ideal on the man called Yusuke. So with the truth currently in the possession of Zaku, he needed to use the said information against the Raikage to make her think twice about what she does in the future, but also which side she truly wants to be on when the world bends to Zaku's will. Zaku see a true killer in Mayu capable of great things if she embraces what she is just like Zaku has embraced what he is and that is the true one king of this world or will be again.

To cover his own tracks Zaku has brainwashed several of the village guards with false information of his whereabouts so it never looked like he left the village at all while they were fed the information that Zaku was on holiday leave, he was also covered head to toe in a robe that covered his massive frame and body with a hood that he had over his face to cover most of it. The robe would also allow Zaku to move freely without obstruction. Having successfully with ease gotten out of the village of Konoha, he had made his way to Kumogakure after a good amount of traveling Zaku had arrived at Kumogakure. While the journey had been an easy one by Zaku's standards as he knew the land in and out like it was his back garden. Zaku had made sure to cover his tracks as well by destroying anything he used for transport, making sure he brainwashed anyone he came into contact with him so they wouldn't recognize Zaku. The same method of getting into Kumogakure that he used to get out of Konoha he used on the Kumogakure shinobi as he made his way to the Raikages tower, keeping to the high points of the village to remain hidden.

Zaku had reached the highest tower in Kumogakure that was the Raikages tower, while he was fairly certain as the villages were similarly designed from his time he went by this information when navigating the land. While not everything was the same it was close enough to be the same. Zaku landed on the balcony of the Raikages office in the middle of the night, he had used the dark sky to mask his approach. To his surprise, the balcony door to her office had been open and unguarded as was her office. To Zaku, he had been careful with covering his tracks all along so he didn't think it was a trap. It just seemed to him like the Raikage Mayu seemed a bit lackluster with her guard it probably was a sign of her personality being the white lie. Though as Zaku entered her office he could see that the wealth was clearly showing she was of high-class standards. Zaku never cared for money all that much only using it to fuel the need for war which he was more than happy to do at a moments notice. Zaku would activate his sharingan as his crimson eyes now came into focus through his hood that covered his face as did the robes on his massive frame. The Sharigan would also act as his guide to find the woman he was looking for as well which didn't take him long to find as he moved into the adjoining room next to her office which was her bedroom a logical place to find the Raikage at such a late hour. Zaku could tell his by spotting her chakra through the wall in her office by someone in the bed, while this was not 100 percent accurate he could only assume as he approached the door to her bedroom quietly in the pitch black of darkness the only light coming from his beaming crimson Sharingan on display as he entered her bedroom, Zaku also readied his left arm seal just in case she wanted to be brave he didn't come to fight but would defend himself if he had to.

[Mayu Hosazu]

It was late at night and it was time for Mayu to call it a night. She stretched as she entered in her room and closed her door. It was convenient enough that her bedroom was in her office. It saved her a lot of time from walking out of the palace and into another building. Mayu, after all, was the Raikage. She earned it. Or so everyone else thought that she earned it.

Mayu had an interesting talk with the Tsuchikage. It was cute how she sank down to her level. Mayu will admit, she'll applaud her for it. Still, that doesn't mean everything is solidified in Mayu's book. Is her trust with the Tsuchikage fully in tact? Maybe, maybe not. She can only wait and see how well the Tsuchikage plays this out before either kage would start to break down.

Mayu was already in bed with the lights off as she was already in deep sleep. However, she wasn't exactly a heavy sleeper. She was in her undergarment all snuggled up under the blanket, preparing herself for the next day. That was until she heard footsteps in the hall. However, that wasn't enough to phase the woman into fear. It wasn't until then she heard a slight creak of the door opening break into the air.

Mayu slowly sat herself up as she noticed red eyes in the dark. Reaching for the light switch next to her bed, the first thing she saw was a large man with red eyes standing in the room. One thing she managed to catch on was his open jacket, revealing his abs. He was blond, at least to Mayu he looked blond with a red headband to match the color of his open jacket. If she was honest, she wasn't disappointed by the view. She was, however, disappointed that someone had the courtesy of breaking into her office and into her bedroom.

"An intruder, who could possibly be a potential murderer, decides to break in. The least you can do is knock." She said with sarcasm as she casually yawned.

Zaku had been right about the location of Raikage Mayu Hosazu she had been in her bed asleep until Zaku had just awoken her up with his approch to her office. Zaku was also right with her bedroom being right next door as it would make sense for a Kage to have a bedroom right next door if they didn't want to travel a long distance between there home in the village to the Kage tower the same can be said with Mayu Hosazu.

Zaku had woken the woman up as one minute it was dark in her bedroom for only the bedside light next to her bed to suddenly light the room around him, which caused Zaku to close his eyes for a second due to the sudden brightness causing his sharingan to become blinded he would then deactivate it and revert to his normal vision, with his vision no longer blinded he could see once again the Raikage in view at least her face with her body sat up in her bed with her covered in the bedsheets around her frame. From a first glance you couldn't tell that the woman was a killer by nature and a woman who would stop at nothing to preserve what she wanted the most, she was also pale to go along with her nickname The White Lie, but with that her beauty shone toward Zaku as he looked at her right back. Zaku hadn't realized that his robes were open revealing his red open jacket and revealing his muscular abs towards the Raikage Mayu. The hood of the robes was still covering most of his face so that is where he would leave it for now. He wasn't bothered by the fact that she had seen features of his body like his jacket etc. With the information that Zaku had on the woman he placed a bet with himself she wouldn't be spilling anything after his discussion with her. It was then the woman would speak to Zaku speaking of Zaku as an intruder who could be a potential murderer towards the Raikage was in her bedroom. If Zaku had wanted to kill the woman outright he wouldn't be speaking to her right now she would have been dead and he would be on his way to high tailing it out of Kumogakure.

"If I had wanted to kill you Lady Raikage trust me you wouldn't be speaking with me right this second and I would be miles away from here right about now so your assumption that I am a murderer is wrong. An intruder you are right about, but I intrude on your home and country with news you might want to hear from me first. Also, I wouldn't call any guards they wouldn't want to hear what I have to say for your benefit as well as mine. " After speaking Zaku would step forward and closed the door to the bedroom behind him shut. Then he would pull down the hood covering his face and then untie a button on the robe to pull the entire thing from his frame to reveal Zaku in all his glory to the woman. My name is Zaku Uchiha of Konohagakure as you probably can already tell from the Uchiha in my name, but the reasons I am here have no bearings on the village of Konoha. I am here of my own free will and they have not a clue in the world I am here right now. So to why I am here information came to me from your meeting with the Tsuchikage while you could say to me that you weren't there you couldn't possibly know what you two discussed you would be right, but I am no average shinobi lady Raikage I am a man with years of knowledge most could only dream of acquiring. So if I would have a guess at what your meeting was about it would be about the war with Konoha and the lands of Kusa. To throw my guess another angle I bet you two discussed helping one another in the war. " After speaking and pausing for a second to catch his breath he knew most of the truth deep down he had spies watching everywhere so knew the movements of most and could guess with the current state of the world affairs. Zaku's most powerful tool was the information he knew it made it priceless to him.

"If I am wrong, you should speak up now lady Raikage and I will speak of it no more. If I am right then listen further to me as this plot interests me greatly. " After speaking Zaku paused for a second to give Mayu a second to digest what she had heard from the man before he dropped a bomb on her lap. " I hope you don't try to feed me a white lie like you did with your story on how you became the Raikage, as I know its all a cover-up." With that Zaku remained silent and didn't speak again for now.

[Mayu Hosazu]

It looked like Mayu's sarcasm was taken into a literal sense. It wasn't the first time something like this happened. "Well, it's nice for you to state the obvious. I was too tired to do it myself." She mocked the man. The man then went on to suggest to not call in any guards if she didn't want them to hear what he had to say. "It was bad enough they didn't manage to escort you out of the building or even kill you off when you broke in."
She sneered. She needed better bodyguards than the ones she had now, she'd think.

The man introduced himself as Zaku Uchiha who hailed from Konoha, claiming that no one but himself sent him here. Mayu would've used the opportunity to scold at him, but what really got her attention was that he was aware of Mayu meeting Naoko, the Tsuchikage and assumed that Mayu and Naoko sealed the deal on becoming allies for the war. She could only smirk at that assumption. How he managed to figure that out was less important... at least for now.

"I won't deny that I've met up with the Tsuchikage and talked about battle plans, but that doesn't conclude that we've confirmed our status of becoming allies. Let's just say that we're still working on it." Mayu informed Zaku. 

Zaku then proposed that Mayu would tell him everything she knows or else he'll blackmail the woman that Mayu was the real culprit of killing off the former Raikage. Mau only chuckled at that statement as she fidgeted around bed to make herself more comfortable. What was even funnier was that he used a nickname some citizens of the village see her as. She couldn't help but give a soft chuckle.

"Mr. Zaku, what I can unfortunately tell you that the 'true' story you claim to know are only rumors that swarmed around the village ever since I've became Raikage. I'll admit, some people wished I'd drop dead. You knowing the actual story is far from what I'm interested. What I'm more interested is how you're going to prove such a distasteful rumor."

Mayu the Raikage confirmed to Zaku that she had met with the Tsuchikage in order to confirm so his rumor that he had spoken to the woman about. Mayu said that the two of them discussed battle plans but didn't say if the two of them had come to an arrangement as of yet, what was most important to Zaku is that did try to attack Kusagakure for the lands in order to spark a war with Konoha as they would cause the next stage of his plan to activate which was to expand needless resources in fighting a drawn out battle with Kusa over lands and waste resources that could be spent on other area's is a bold plan from Zaku, but it would be one that would work in his favor if it happened he just needed to add that fuel to the fire, but it might not come that far if things carried on going how they were between the Raikage and Tsuchikage.

Afterwards, the woman spoke about the rumor that Zaku had told the Raikage Mayu about the truth about her paste and how she becomes the Raikage. Not the truth she wants to admit to Zaku, he knew that it would come down to her feeding him one of her White Lies the same nickname the village of Kumogakure had given the Raikage, but this was no ordinary man, this was Zaku Uchiha the man who was the King of the old world, he was smart, had years and years of experience and more eye and ears than most could even dream of having. The woman before him needed to see a kind of proof that Zaku so-called had. Zaku had the proof the woman wanted so with that he moved a little closer to her before standing at the edge of her bed before he activated his crimson red eyes of his Sharingan. He would then look into her woman's clear eyes. Look into my eyes and you will see the truth you are seeking. "

What would happen next is that Mayu would be placed into a genjutsu one that would show her the 'Truth' she was seeking. The genjutsu took place in a man's mind called Yusuke the same one that had been killed for the death of the Raikage the one that took the blame and was not the one who committed the crime. Mayu would be able to see everything from his point of view and to start this genjutsu she would see that Yusuke being in chains on the ground in Kumogakures prison meeting with a tall hooded man in robes meeting with Yusuke before his execution the hooded man was Zaku talking with Yusuke before his death about what happened during the event that led to him getting blamed for the crime he did not commit. The reason to why Zaku had been there in the first place was not revealed nor did he reveal that during the vision Mayu would be seeing. Next, she would see is that Zaku is looking into the man's eyes using his Sharingan to extract the truth from him, the vision would be teleported to the point that she wanted to see with Yusuke the innocent of the part and Mayu killing the Raikage through Yusuke's point of view and injuring herself in the process to make it look like Yusuke had performed the evil she spoke off. Mayu would also experience how real this genjutsu was and how scared Yusuke would feel in his final moments before he knew his life was over with what Mayu had done that fateful day. With the truth now revealed to the woman, Zaku would break off the genjutsu from the woman so she was no longer under its projection before he stepped back once more. Mayu would also feel no ill effects from being in the genjutsu she would just know its real and that something like that cannot be made up. "You have now seen the truth you wanted to see through the eyes of the one who took the blame for the death of the last Raikage while you may think of this as blackmail I see it as a cause for both of us to form a partnership that works for both of us in the future and beyond. Also, it doesn't matter about your guards these eyes of mine can make them forget or cause them to sleep so it's a pointless venture I can go any place I want anytime. So what will it be my beautiful White Lie, I am sure you would prefer not being charged with treason, your family name being shamed or worse. " After speaking Zaku breathed in order to pause and wait for the Raikages choice in the matter she knew at this point she didn't have a choice in the matter.

[Mayu Hosazu]

Mayu was suddenly brought into the scene where she was chained to the ground. Although she couldn't say anything, she could only see what was happening. From what she could tell, this was Yusuke imprisoned when he was accused of murdering the former Raikage. She then saw Zaku standing in front of his cell with the imprisoned man staring into the blond man's eyes before being taken to another location; a location that changed the faiths of both Yusuke and Mayu. She witnessed herself slinging a kunai into the former Raikage's skull, followed by Mayu stabbing her own side.

Mayu was then brought back to reality, still in her bed with no sensation from the effects of the genjutsu. All she did was continuing staring at the blond man with a blank expression, but she knew very well she was caught red handed. "Damn it." She muttered to herself as she sighed in defeat. "You damn Uchiha know how to get under someone's skin. If only you don't have those eyes you wouldn't be all high and mighty." She said as she flipped her hair.

"But I do have one question: what do you want out of this 'partnership'? I can't give you any plans the Tsuchikage and I have discussed since they're yet to be official, nor is our alliance confirmed. And I certainly doubt the Tsuchikage would want anything to do with you, regardless if you're actually aligned with Konoha or not."
