SUMMON REGISTRATION
Name: Sakai
Contract: Izumi Sumire
Type: Moth
Rank: S
Appearance: The largest of all the summons, Sakai is the size of a large building and able to comfortably carry roughly a dozen people on his back with minimal effort. Covered in a thick brown fuzz, his massive wings are a mottled brown and tan. Beyond that he is what most might expect - a massive moth.
Personality: Quiet and introspective despite his rather young age when compared to other elder summons, Sakai generally dislikes fighting as a rule - left to his own devices he'd much rather simply travel and see what the world has to offer. By extension he is very hesitant to help in combat when summoned, and will usually not directly assist unless it is a matter of grave importance or the shinobi he is contracted to is under the imminent threat of death.
Abilities:
Moth Senses: Contrary to popular belief, moths have excellent senses of sight and these summons are no exception to this. Capable of seeing in both the visible and ultraviolet spectrums, the vast majority of camouflage techniques prove ineffective due to focus on the visible spectrum of light that humans see. Likewise, their sense of smell extends far beyond that of most other creatures and can track living things for miles based on pheromones alone, often eliminating the usefulness of the few camouflage techniques that can fool their vision. This makes them incredibly useful scouts as well as ensuring that few enemies are capable of sneaking past or ambushing them.
Hallucinogenic Scales: While not an ability typically found in silk moths, these summons hardly qualify as normal. Generated not from their own bodies but rather from the plants eaten during their larval stage, the wings of these summons are covered in toxic scales capable of inducing hallucinations if inhaled or with direct skin contact. While antidotes capable of preventing this from occurring are often readily available due to the common nature of the toxin, the lack of use among shinobi coupled with the fact that the antidote takes several minutes to become effective after being exposed to the toxin makes it difficult to counter without prior knowledge of the summons. On a far more dangerous note, however, these scales can be readily shed and are highly flammable in their air borne, dust like form and if exposed to flames can create sizable explosions dangerous to both the summon and their opponent.

SUMMON REGISTRATION
Name: Kansatsu
Contract: Izumi Sumire
Type: Moth
Rank: B
Appearance: Small and dull brown, to the outside observer these summons are no more than ordinary moths, with even the more educated only able to identify them as wild silk moths at a glance.
Personality: Referring more to the collective than the individual, the Kansatsu (or "observers") tend to be largely interchangeable with one another - quick, to the point and professional. They do, however, share a number of other traits with one another such as a particular attention to even the most minute of details, and hold sloppy work without regard for quality in contempt and are easily annoyed by such individuals. While able and willing to work for most anyone capable of summoning them so long as the job lay within their skillset - reconnaissance and espionage - those who do manage to annoy them and repeatedly trigger that pet peeve will quickly find a summon that is far more likely to go back home than help.

SUMMON REGISTRATION
Name: Kaiko
Contract: Izumi Sumire
Type: Silkworm
Rank: D
Appearance: Small and a pale gray, the Kaiko look exactly like their namesake - little more than domestic silkworms.
Personality: Referring more to the collective than the individual, the Kansatsu (or "observers") tend to be largely interchangeable with one another. Too young to assist in combat beyond setting traps, their borderline blindness and inability to speak severely limit their roles. Despite this, however, they by and large tend to be helpful by nature and will often do as asked so long as it doesn't directly threaten their own wellbeing.
Abilities:
Silk Production: Unlike their older and more versatile adult kin, the Kaiko are severely limited in what they can do - that said, however, their one unique ability far offsets that weakness and allowed the Sumire family to amass a small fortune within Kirigakure. Often sold to the more wealthy clients within the village and select VIPs outside it, silk produced by these caterpillars is remarkably tough. Far more light and flexible than conventional forms of protection, this silk bears a number of unique properties beyond its ability to resist if not outright block basic steel weaponry. The most notable trait is its ability to synergize with chakra flow techniques, with nonelemental chakra vastly improving the silk's ability to resist physical harm and even a number of ninjutsu techniques and elemental chakra producing a startling array of effects dependent upon the user.
