KYOYA HATTORI
QUOTE/LYRIC HERE
37 | MALE |
ELITE JOUNIN | KONOHA |
APPEARANCE
Hattori Kyoya has always been a tall man for his height; he is lean with muscle from working in his families business as well as training to become a shinobi and swordsman. While he is not bulking with muscle, he has concentrated on working his whole body over and focused heavily on the movement and use of a sword or katana.
Kyoya has dark hair that almost looks like it has a violet hue in certain light; he used to wear it quite short but recently his wife has convinced him to grow it out just a bit. The dark strands reach down to brush against his neck and layer around his face and eyes. His eyes are a vibrant blue-violet that seem like harden steel in darker light or high emotions. He has a strong jawline and sharp features that compliment his pale skin and vibrant eyes.
He favours simple clothes over heavy decorative or complex clothes. Usually seen in almost military styled or simple shirts and pants with dark colours like blacks, grays and navy blues. Kyoya favours his outer jacket, the thick material is warm and light; it's a button down jacket with wide sleeves and collar. The tails of the coat goes down just before his knees and he wears knee high combat boots with black pants. He wears a sash and belt around his hips to holster his weapons and cover over his hip pouches; his headband is usually found tired around his upper left arm or tied onto the sash by his swords.
PERSONALITY
Hattori, Kyoya like many men show a vary of emotions that not many can always pick out. Closest friends and comrades are among those who can pick out the subtle shifts in emotions and personality. On the other hand, he is a stout and dependable person no matter what goes around him. Rarely does the unusual get past him and his sharp eyes; he is a natural born leader, not always finding himself buried deep into the forges.
Draw Forward
From a young age, Kyoya always shown an aptitude for leadership and command; leading his best friends in many teams and missions over the years. He had started his shinobi career earlier like his cousins and face , some of the battles and fights had been used as learning tools until he too had seen the fray. While both of his teammates are quite destructive in different way, he had learn to adapt and lead them to an advantage, even with his back against the wall.
Never giving up was a forte of his own, his best friends never allowing him to fall down and he in turn never allowed them to fall. From ruins and ashes, he would find his way back up to the top. Kyoya will stand firm on his decisions and choices, whether to lead into the hell or heaven and regret nothing.
Between Duty and Family
Growing up with a slightly dysfunctional family and friends, Kyoya has a great sense of duty to that of the Village and that of his family and friends. He went through the shinobi Academy like many children, understanding that they would become killers in the face of strife and in the missions that they would go on. Not all orders, he knew would be kind nor would they be easy. Anger was an emotion he had been quite familiar with as a young man, the loss of hisfatherr and eldest brother in the early years of his life.
He understands deeply the loss of family in the face of duty and has lived with the consequences of orders and death. Every order, decision and action Kyoya has made, he has deeply reflected upon it all because of the compassion and loyalty he feels to both Village and family. Growing up, he had to grow up fast dealing with the loss of his father and brother mostly on his own as to not add burdens to his own mother's grief.
With sadness comes both love and happiness, sometimes at the same time or one at a time. Growing up, Kyoya made friends with the unlikely, keeping his head grounded but always giving him a smile and a good laugh. He loves and cares deeply for his friends and family; never wanting to partake sadness onto them. Marrying his wife, Miyu, had been one of his happiness moments.
Striving for Perfection
As a child, Kyoya was always a curious child; following around his parents and elder sibling around Konohagakure and the family's business. School was a joy, the ability to constantly learn and be taught new things fascinated him. Growing up, his own desire to learn and experience could not be tapered off; his own collection of books and scrolls littered his room until he moved out. Even then, he got a place with enough space to store his clutter of a library.
Still to this day, he favours information, knowledge and practical experience first over diving into the unknown with nothing. He can be calculating and tactical, some would say almost a killer edge to his quiet and inquisitive nature. Kyoya understands the dark and foreboding life of a shinobi, the cold side that is need and someone has to make the hard decisions. He is smart and knows so, using that knowledge to create openings in battles and to make well thought out plans.
For the Long Term
Patience is endless in this man. This patience has been brought into a battle and into his life as a shinobi; Kyoya can withstand and play the waiting game. Occasionally toying with the enemy if need be. While he is a patient man, he can be irritated by annoyances like his friends. Sometimes people can take him too seriously with his quiet nature and patience, he is not incapable of joking or laughing.
