JUTSU REGISTRATION
Name: Katon: Tenka (Fire Relase: Ignition)
Rank: D
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Hand Signs: None
Chakra Nature(s): Katon
Range: Contact
Description: Little more than the training technique used to teach most shinobi their first elemental release put into more practical use, Tenka has very few combat applications. Utilizing nature transformation, the user infuses Katon natured chakra into an object to ignite it and set the item aflame. In terms of practicality the technique can do very little to directly harm an opponent, but it is invaluable for more mundane uses. For the survivalist it can allow them to start fires without flint or more flashy uses of ninjutsu, regardless of how wet their fuel/tinder may be. More advanced users with better control can use it to heat and weaken/melt weaker metals, with greater finesse allowing the technique to simply heat items without damaging them, such as drying clothing or simply cooking food.
Drawbacks: The technique on its own cannot create a free standing flame, nor does it grant the user immunity to the heat they create - someone not exercising caution can easily burn themselves on the item they're trying to manipulate. Additionally the more advanced uses of the technique require either an in depth understanding of the technique and its mechanics or a high degree of chakra control to accomplish without a great deal of practice and focus.
