APPEARANCE
Saya is a beauty, standing at 5'11 and weighing about 150 pounds, she is grace personified. Long deep brown hair reaches the middle of her back, and golden eyes glimmer sweetly at patients and allies alike. She has a softer voice and a tendency for a withdrawn posture. Rest assured, though, that despite her appearance she is still a fierce fighter and exceptional medic whose hands are almost quicker than her thoughts.
Her style is usually a frilled or sheer dress of some sort, colored pink, gray, black, or a mix of those. She'll otherwise wear a yukata or kimono depending on the season with plenty of feminine accents. Her favorite perfume is lilac.
PERSONALITY
Saya is a sweet soul, and if the military allowed pacifists, well, she's as close as you'd probably get. She dislikes needless violence and believes in giving second chances. People are innocent until proven guilty and Saya tries to treat everyone with a baseline of respect and dignity until they prove unworthy of such. She will go out of her way to help those in need--be it human or animal.
Despite her skills, the thing she struggles with the most is killing. Taking a life is not easy for her, and while she's done it by necessity in prior missions, each and every occasion haunts her. She focuses her energy on a support approach, helping her allies from the sidelines and developing strategies to keep them safe.

Exceptional Precision
Precision is everything for a medic. Saya's dexterity extends from surgery onto the battlefield with her intense focus on pinpointing locations of injury--with just a scalpel in hand, she can deal deadly blows by targeting primary arteries or organs. She personally dislikes killing, however, and will prefer to merely cripple a foe--perhaps slashing essential tendons--before she resorts to killing them.
Perfect Chakra Control
Saya has studied the medical arts her entire life and it shows in the way she masterfully controls her chakra. Like most other soldiers, she's of average chakra level and doesn't believe in wasting a drop of energy. She is conservative but effective in her use of it, able to keep focus on expenditure even in the thick of battle.
Acrobatics
Saya is a wily fighter, often twirling and flipping and jumping away from enemy strikes with ease. She's always been naturally flexible and light of foot, and her years of training with the military only reinforced this. She'd definitely win a parkour contest if she was bothered to try one.
Daunting Speed
Saya isn't the most forceful of fighters where it concerns her physically, so instead she's honed her speed to be the best among her class. She can travel much more quickly than others, covering the same distances in less time, and also makes use of heightened speed in combat to ensure her aim can keep up with opponents with thrown weaponry.

HISTORY
Aug. 13, Year 243
Saya was born into a noble family. The Hinamoris were known for their political involvement, status as ambassadors for Kirigakure, and had a multitude of properties producing farmed goods each harvest that help support the nation. Though her father, Tatsuo, wanted her to become a noble woman and stray from combat, Saya took after her mother, Ayaka, and wanted to be a kunoichi. Stories of her mother's medical feats absolutely enchanted Saya from a young age, and she was eager to learn.
Sep. 03, Year 252
At age 9, Saya joined the Ninja Academy. She'd already been studying textbooks with her mother even before attending, and so she was astute and well-read from day one. This led to her excelling in her coursework, both academic and practical. She particularly excelled in acrobatics, able to learn new moves and dance around her peers with elegance one might have expected from the noble woman she was "meant" to be.
Sep. 24, Year 256
At age 13, Saya graduated the Academy with high marks. She had a wide circle of friends, mostly female, though her beauty had blossomed early and she had her share of admirers, as well. Life as a genin began pretty standard. She enjoyed the "grunt work" of the military, however. It made her feel like she had a purpose other than to "sit pretty" as her father had wanted for her.
Mar. 06, Year 259
At age 16, Saya was promoted to Chuunin through continued dutiful and loyal service to her nation. During one mission, she'd even saved a politician's son from rabid wolves, which endeared her to the higher classes to some degree.
Jun. 17, Year 263
At age 20, Saya was promoted to Special Jounin and given the position of Head Medic for her continued exceptional work as a medical ninja. Her skills far exceeded many expectations, and while she was known for not being the most aggressive of fighters, she was an essential support piece in every battlefield.
Mar. 23, Year 266
In spring of this year, Saya helped dismantle a crime syndicate by healing her allies who were storming a base in southern Water Country. Her healing allowed wave after wave of ninja to attack, leading to a swift victory with very few casualties. This effort earned her a promotion to Jounin at age 23. Her career thus far had been fairly standard, though. She has yet to test herself to her very limits in the thicket of hell.
