APPEARANCE
Rin is of shorter stature, standing at 5'6" (167 cm) and weighing about 120 pounds (54 kg). She has sparkling sky blue eyes and soft white hair that she keeps short. Rin typically wears traditional dress--yukatas, modified kimonos, etc.--as well as various furs and tufted boleros and shawls to keep herself comfortable while traveling. Often times her attire is a mix of blues, grays, and white, as these are her clan's colors. She very much gives off the "regal" air that one within one of the greatest noble clans would emanate.
PERSONALITY
Rin has a delicate heart but a strong sense of right and wrong. She strives to lead by example (though admittedly she isn't much of a leader) and tends to give people the benefit of the doubt. Rin tries her best to see the good in people and believes that others are inherently kind unless their actions prove otherwise.
At the end of the day, Rin values feeling appreciated and dutiful. She takes her clan's teachings seriously and does her best to represent her kin whenever possible, making sure her mannerisms exude poise and wealth.
Despite these traits, she does have her weak points. Rin doesn't handle criticisms well and tends to overbear harsh words or insults, leading to added stress. She also has a delicate heart and is easily hurt by what others say or do. While not an anxious person, she also tends to overthink things to the point of visible hesitance in her actions. She will, however, gain more confidence as she grows in her career.

HISTORY
Year 248
Rin was born to Hiroko and Kenchi of Kirigakure's noble Yuki clan. She was raised in wealth and luxury, wanting for very little, but still with expectations impressed upon her to be a kind and humble individual.
Year 255
At age 7, Rin discovered she had the ability to create ice. This was a grand occasion for her family, as being born with the Yukis' kekkei genkai was such a rare thing. She began immediate study under clan masters to hone her abilities.
Year 256
At age 8, Rin entered the Ninja Academy with the blessings of her parents. There she stayed for four years (until age 12). She'd had the opportunity to graduate a few months sooner due to her aptitude in classes, but she chose to remain so that she could graduate with all of her friends.
Year 260
At age 12, Rin attended the academy's graduation ceremony and was given Kirigakure's headband. She chose to wear it around her neck for quite some time, as it was a source of pride for her. She'd well honed her hyoton by this point and felt ready to take on the world in honor of her village and her family.
Year 266
Though still a bit naive and inexperienced, she applied her studies as best she could to her work as a genin. Six years later, at age 18, she had advanced well as a soldier and had proven herself reliable and loyal.
Rin is confident that recognition and a promotion are just around the corner, if she can just keep up her admirable field record...
